There are many places to buy cheap domain names. We enjoy the reliability and customer service from
DreamHost.com and think you can't go wrong getting your domain name from them.
To use our system you only need a domain name. We take care of the rest.
After you purchase the domain, then what?
You must change your nameservers to point to our hosting company. This is a very simple process if you know where to find it on the site of your Domain Hosting Company.

Changing DNS with Dreamhost
Log into your
dreamhost panel and click on the 'Domains' link along the left side. It will drop down revealing several choices. Choose the 'Manage Domains' link and a list of your domains will load on the next page. Click the DNS button underneath your domain name.
On the next page you only need to insert into the top three fields. Put the following and hit set.
ns1.dreamhost.com for Nameserver 1
ns2.dreamhost.com for Nameserver 2
ns3.dreamhost.com for Nameserver 3
Other companies should have the same fields in their administration panels. Be on the look out for DNS or Nameservers and maybe even a FAQ from the company you purchased your domain from.
